Town of Greenville Council Minutes 04/1/25 www.greenvilleborough.com MINUTES OF A SPECIAL SESSION OF THE TOWN OF GREENVILLE COUNCIL HELD IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. 1. Call to Order Paul Hamill, Mayor If you are a visitor to council, we ask you to please sign in at the door and turn off all cellular telephones. If you wish to record the meeting (video or audio), please announce that you are recording to notify the public in the room that they are being recorded. 2. Invocation: Mayor Paul Hamill Flag Salute led by Councilor Chad Bromley 3. Roll Call: Paul Hamill, Mayor Jean Carr, Deputy Mayor Chad Bromley, Councilor Anne Butcher, Councilor Evan Hereford, Councilor – via Teams Brian Shipley, Councilor Linda Zuschlag, Councilor Jasson W. Motion by Councilor Butcher, seconded by Councilor Shipley, authorizing the Town Manager to purchase a used fire truck at a cost not to exceed $140,000.00. Mr. Urey explained the truck slid off an icy lane while responding to a fire in Delaware Township. He noted the truck was totaled by the insurance company and the truck on tonight’s agenda will replace the totaled truck. By using the insurance funds and selling the 2000 HME fire truck, the cost of the truck in question is covered. Motion carried 7-0. 6. Council Comments Councilor Shipley thanked Lt. Albaugh for the work he did to locate this vehicle. 7. Mayor Comments - None 8. Town Manager Comments - None 9. Adjournment to Executive Session to discuss a personnel matter at 6:04 p.m. 10. Adjournment of Executive Session back to Special Session at 6:07 p.m. 11. Adjournment at 6:15 p.m. Having no other business, Motion by Councilor Shipley, seconded by Councilor Butcher, to adjourn this session of Council at 6:07 p.m. Motion carried 7-0.
