BOROUGH OF GREENVILLE www.greenvilleborough.com COUNCIL WORK SESSION AGENDA May 9, 2013 – 6:30 p.m. INFORMATIONAL: A. 175th Anniversary Summer Concert Series starts June 8th – August 24th from 5pm-8pm at Riverside Park in the amphitheatre. B. Memorial Day Parade is Monday, May 27th. C. Greenville Rotary Club’s 90th Anniversary Celebration Dinner is Wednesday, May 29th at Thiel College – Lutheran Heritage Room at 6pm. D. Shenango Valley YMCA Greenville Quarterly Report is on file at the Borough office. E. Greenville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Concerts in the Park on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm starting on June 6th and ending on July 25th. F. Mercer MPO newsletter on local bridge projects is on file at the Borough office. G. St. Jude’s Episcopal Church Kid’s Carnival, June 1st from 1p-3p, free and open to the public. PUBLIC COMMENTS COUNCIL CONSIDERATION UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None. NEW BUSINESS: A. There are nine (9) additions to the Per Capita roll and eleven (11) permanent exonerations in the amount of $55.00 from the Greenville Tax office. B. Discuss the following open board seats: 1. Horizon Hospital System Authority (Joseph Walton) for a five year term. 2. Sanitary Authority Board (Cindy Tonks) for a 5 year term. 3. Shenango Valley Enterprise Zone (Jasson Urey) for a four year term. 4. Shenango Valley Enterprise Zone (Vacated by Amy Hollowell) for a three year term. 1 C. Discuss motion to authorize the Borough Manager to approve the low bid and proceed with demolition of 40 S. Front Street. D. Discuss motion authorizing the Borough Council President to sign Stillwaggon & McGill 2010-2011 audit of Earned Income Tax Collector from Keystone Collections. E. Discuss motion to reallocate $75,000 from Reserve from Future Debt Service; $65,000 to the Emergency/Rainy Day Fund and $10,000 to the 175th Anniversary of Greenville. F. Discuss motion authorizing the Borough Council President to sign the letter of support for the United Way 2-1-1 telephone service. G. Discuss re-appointment of Sharp Collections to collect delinquent per capita beginning July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. ADJOURNMENT 2
