Fire Board 01/06/20 & E.O.Y 12/30/19 @ 7:00 PM Records Committee 05/05/20 @ 6:30 PM Ambulance Board 12/09/20 & 01/20/20 @ 5:00 PM Administrator’s Report: Administrator Giles wanted to give an update on the AEP Substation that is up for sale. In previous discussions the purchase price of the substation was at $21,000.00 but recent discussions the price has went down to $17,000.00. He has requested more maintenance records from AEP and will wait for more information at this time. Concrete has been poured and a new flag pole at the cemetery has been installed. Chief’s Report: Chief Dorsey stated that the space capsule made it by St. Rt. 13 with no problems. An update on the traffic camera stands at Monroeville OH filing a temporary injunction to block the new laws stopping camera use. Mr. Cook who has made public records requests, concerning Greenwich’s opto-traffic camera has received everything that was requested. Mr. Cook is stating that calibrations are wrong with the camera and that he may continue on with a lawsuit against the Village, but the Village is postured in a good way because we have fulfilled all requests in a timely manner and there is documentation of the Village requesting the information from Opto-traffic immediately after the request was made by Mr. Cook. The Ohio State Patrol came down on a Sunday to inquire about the traffic camera and chief believes that OSP may be doing a study on the cameras. Residents are calling more and inquiring about permits and that the yearly zoning reports have been sent out to Huron County. Solicitor’s Report: Attorney Palmer stated that he is still continuing with the truck cases in court and that he had a trial were a State Highway Patrol Officer had to attend and the officer had given a compliment to the Greenwich’s Police Department concerning the signs that we set up for the detour. Mayor’s Report: Mayor Sallee wanted to remind everyone that the Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony is this Saturday and Sunday. First of the year reports will be coming up at the first meeting of the year and council will be hearing from the Mayor, the Treasurer and Cemetery Sexton. The next meeting of the 17th there will be cake for Betty Inmon and Jerry Shoemaker.
