Information from Virgil was passed along to him informing Council that solar zoning inquiries have been made, Council may want to get ahead on the situation before it gets out of hand. Last meeting discussion took place concerning the resident that is running a generator for power, Virgil is still researching to see if it is a violation. As of right now there is not much that can be done but he is looking into the ORC to see if it states of a violation. Virgil looked into having St. Rt. 224 repaved, Greenwich is not slated on for payment until 2024. Mayor Sallee has asked about getting some patch work done through ODOT but their budget is getting cut as well. Virgil has stated that there have been quite a few of repairs to the water plant, it is near the end of its life and will need to be addressed. There has been no word on the grant funding from CDBG for the Gifford and S. Pleasant St resurfacing project. The Huron County Land bank previously sent some paperwork asking what the due date was on tearing down the property at 57 Townsend, Virgil had some questions for the Land bank as to what that had to do with the Village getting the 1|Page Wesley Sallee Mayor  VILLAGE OF GREENWICH – STATE OF OHIO Administration Offices: 45 Main Street. Virgil received an email from USDA concerning the grant money that was applied for, to comply with the EPA for the storm water removal project. This grant is from the US Department of Agriculture, this isn’t good news. Mayor reads, information received the average user of sewer is about 3,500 gallons a month, according to the rate sheets the average water/sewer bills average about $25.00/$26.00 a month. The 2010 medium income is about $39,125.00 a year. USDA would like to see water and sewer rates at 1.5% or 3% combined before grant money gets put into a project. Rates would need to be raised to $48.91 each. The USDA can offer a loan at the current rate of 1.875% @ 40 years. If there is any questions on the grants please reach out to Virgil. Virgil just finalized the design loan from the EPA, cost $341,553.00 rolled over to the construction loan. There is no memorial service but GIG will have a virtual memorial service. Heidi Johnson is organizing the Greenwich Garage Sales that will be held on the 3rd of July. Council Discussion: Mr. Lloyd was approached by one of the Firemen to see about having fireworks this year. His feeling is that they should and everyone should come and support it. The biggest logistic problem he states would be the crowd and parking, he states. Mr. Lloyd states that he talked with Sherriff Corbin and he states that he would be willing to help with traffic. Randy Wilson states that the community is in need of some entertainment right now. Mr. King states that even if the Village keeps the park closed, fireworks can be seen from all around town and that it is benefit to the community. Travis Wilson advised council on the possibility of payment not being received by the Village on the rental of the softball field for the July 4th tournaments and Mayor stated that the fiscal officer will make sure it is collected before tournaments begin this year.
