Greenwood Planning and Zoning Meeting October 3, 2023 at 6:15pm Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call- Fortuna, Block, Ashbeck, Schmitz all present. Also present, Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar and Public Works Director Eddie Herrick. New Business: 1. Schar provided permits, plans and information received from Ramaker & Associates, Inc regarding a wireless communications tower to be located in parcel 231.0563.000. Planning and zoning would like additional time for the review of all the provided documents. Schmitz motioned to table the discussion for Legal Council review. Block seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 2. Ashbeck motioned to enter into closed session pursuant to S.S. 19.85 (1)(e)(Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing or sale of public properties). Block seconded the motion. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Block motioned to adjourn closed session and reconvene into open session. Ashbeck seconded the motion. Roll call vote. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Asbeck motioned to recommend to Council to divide parcel 231.0605.016 into a 1 acre and 3 acre lots and place for sale on the Wisconsin Public Surplus site with a minimum bid of $5,000. Land must have a home built on it within 3 years after the closing. If a home is not built within 3 years the property will revert back to the city OR the land owner will have to pay a $1,000 fine per year until a home is built. Block seconded the motion. All ayes.
