HILL STREET 5:00 PM PRESENT Present: Thomas (Tommy) J Barrett Jr, James Dutton, Ryan Bowlden, Steve Wages, Dennis Noll, Randy Peters Absent: Holly Murray, Thomas (Tim ) D Brown, Doug Hollberg Additional Attendees: Ms. Stephanie Windham (Authority Legal Counsel), Mr. Greg Teague (Croy Engineering), Ms. Madison Teague (Croy Engineering), Ms. Erica Dye (Spalding County Asst. Manager) & Mr. Robert Mohl (Airport Director). CALL TO ORDER At 5PM the Chair (Dr. Randall Peters) called the meeting to order. A request to amend the agenda, adding item number “b” under “New Airport Update” for the consideration of an amendment (#1) to The Demolition Contract with McLeRoy Inc, Contractors to add newly acquired structures for demolition (pending GDOT approval) within the New Replacement Airport Construction Project area, for an amount Not-To-Exceed $280,250.00. Motion/second to approve an amendment to the agenda adding item b. as requested by Commissioners Steve Wages / Thomas (Tommy) Barret Jr carried 6-0. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Approve the Minutes of the Regular Airport Authority Meeting held on the 8th of June 2026. Motion/second to approve the Minutes of the Regular GSAA Meeting held on the 08th of June 2026. by Commissioners Thomas (Tommy) Barrett Jr / Steve Wages carried 6-0. CITIZEN COMMENTS At this time, the Chairman opens the floor to comments from the audience. Comments should relate to a specific agenda item not listed on the agenda for a Public Hearing or to a concern regarding aviation. Authority meetings serve the purpose of conducting airport business and are not a forum for the unlimited expression of opinion. The Chairman reserves the right to limit comments to matters germane to airport business and may refer speakers to the Airport Director or other staff for resolution. There were no comments by the public made at this time. NEW AIRPORT UPDATE a Update regarding the progress of the construction of the new, replacement airport project. Croy Engineering will address. Ms. Madison Teague provided a synopsis of events and work performed regarding the New Replacement Regional Airport Construction Project. b. A request considering an amendment (#1) to The Demolition Contract with McLeRoy Inc, Contractors to add newly acquired structures for demolition (pending GDOT approval) within the New Replacement Airport Construction Project area, for an amount Not-To-Exceed $280,250.00. Motion/second to approve an amendment (#1) to the demolition contract for McLeRoy Inc. as requested by Commissioners Steve Wages / Thomas (Tommy) Barret Jr carried 6-0. AIRPORT DIRECTOR COMMENTS a Approval of the grant & non-budget expenditures occurring for the month ending 30 June, 2026. Airport Director will address. Motion/second to approve the grant & non-budgeted items as presented. by Commissioners Steve Wages / Dennis Noll carried 6-0. b Monthly Operations & Activity Report for the month ending 30th of June 2026. Airport Director will address. Airport Director (Mr. Robert Mohl) provided a statistical summary report of the operations, activity, expenditures & revenues generated at 6A2, for the month ending 30 June 2026. AIRPORT AUTHORITY ATTORNEY COMMENTS There were no legal issues addressed at this time. AUTHORITY MEMBER COMMENTS There were no comments made at this time.
