Citizens’ Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes Meeting of the Citizens’ Recreation Commission was held on February 10, 2026 at Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. CALLED TO ORDER: 7:00 p.m. PRESENT: ABSENT: Melinda Billingsley Abby Klotz Dave Andrews Amanda York Gib Heim Lindsay Frattaroli Barb Janutol Amanda Starkey Jason Gaidis ALSO PRESENT: Owen Gafa, Angela Coletti Brown. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA: Motion was made for acceptance of the agenda for January 13, 2026 by Janutol and seconded by Billingsley. Approval of motion: Yes: Billingsley, Andrews, Heim, Janutol, Gaidis. No: None Absent: Klotz, York, Frattaroli, Starkey. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Motion was made for the approval of minutes from January 13, 2026 by Billingsley and seconded by Heim. Approval of motion: Yes: Billingsley, Andrews, Heim, Janutol, Gaidis. No: None Absent: Klotz, York, Frattaroli, Starkey. COUNCIL REPORT:  No social district this year. Last year there were only 2 businesses that participated.  Police Dog assisted with a car theft and found 2 suspects.  Last Council meeting received positive feedback for WinterFest. 1 DIRECTOR’S REPORT:  Need Itemized budget submitted to finance.  Egg Stroll sign up is on February 19th. Location: Ghesquiere.  Thank you cards for WinterFest Volunteers. TREASURER’S REPORT:  WinterFest just under budget. OLD BUSINESS:  WinterFest Wrap up. NEW BUSINESS:  SpringFest May 2nd.  Spring Bike Ride. Motion was made to approve funding for spring fest in the amount of $2,000.00 from account number 101-105-880.200 by Billingsley and seconded by Janutol. Approval of motion: Yes: Billingsley, Andrews, Heim, Janutol, Gaidis. No: None Absent: Klotz, York, Frattaroli, Starkey. Motion was made to approve funding for spring Bike Ride in the amount of $500.00 from account number 101-105-880.200 by Billingsley and seconded by Janutol. Approval of motion: Yes: Billingsley, Andrews, Heim, Janutol, Gaidis. No: None Absent: Klotz, York, Frattaroli, Starkey. 2 ADJOURNMENT: Motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Billingsley and seconded by Heim.
