The Michigan Public Service Commission (Commission) will hold a pre-hearing to consider DTE Electric Company's (DTE Electric) March 18, 2026 application requesting the Commission to grant expedited approval of amendments to Rate Schedule Dll and related relief, consisting of a Minimum Billing Demand (MBD) across their aggregated sites expressed on a customer's bill as a Minimum Monthly Charge equal to the product of the applicable demand rates in Rate Schedule Dll and the 80% MBD. DTE Electric proposes a Large Load Provision to apply to its customers requesting service for incremental load (1) exceeding 100 MW at a single site, or (2) exceeding 100 MW in the aggregate across multiple sites, with a site average of more than 20 MW. DTE Electric's proposed Large Load Provision would include an administrative fee of $100,000 for customers with contracted capacity of less than 200 MW and $250,000 for customers with contracted capacity equal to or greater than 200 MW and establishes a termination fee of 15 years of the customer's MBD; and would require collateral in the amount of the full termination fee accepted in the form of a letter of credit, cash, a parent guarantee, or a combination of the three from the customer.  All documents filed in this case shall be submitted electronically through the Commission's E-Dockets website at: https://mi-psc.mv.site.com/s/.
