The Michigan Public Service Commission (Commission) will hold a pre-hearing to consider DTE Electric Company and DTE Gas Company's (DTE Electric & DTE Gas) June 30, 2026 application requesting the Commission to: 1) approve DTE Electric & DTE Gas' reconciliations for the 2025 Energy Waste Reduction (EWR) plan year, the performance incentives, and the associated proposed tariffs; 2) determine that DTE Electric and DTE Gas' reconciliations for its 2025 EWR plan year are just and reasonable, and that they meet all relevant requirements of Act 295 as amended; 3) approve the necessary accounting authority as proposed by DTE Electric and DTE Gas; 4) authorize DTE Electric to carry forward into 2026 on a customer class basis and used as beginning balances for the 2026 reconciliation the calculated cumulative total net under-recovery of $52.5 million for year end 2025; 5) authorize DTE Gas to carry forward into 2026 on a customer class basis and used as beginning balances for the 2026 reconciliation the calculated cumulative total net under- recovery of $5.0 million for year-end 2025; and 6) grant DTE Electric & DTE Gas such other and further relief as is just and reasonable.
