Wayne County Presents: June 28, 2025 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. E x a m p l e s o f A c c e p t a b l e I t e ms Household paints, stains, dyes Antifreeze, motor oil, gasoline Floor wax, floor care products, Automotive batteries, dry cell batteries, carpet cleaner fluorescent bulbs (all types) Furniture polish, bathroom cleaners, Fire extinguishers, smoke detectors stain removers, solvents Mercury thermometers, thermostats, Pharmaceutical waste elemental mercury, and electronics recycling (NON-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ONLY) Computer CPUs, monitors, printers, Nail polish, glue scanners, keyboards, and mice Fertilizer, lawn and garden chemicals Cell phones, fax machines, copiers, and televisions Only household generated products from Wayne County residents will be accepted. Items that are not accepted include: commercial waste, industrial waste, radioactive material, explosives, ammunition, 55 gallon drums, household trash, refrigerators, microwaves or other appliances, tires, yard waste, roofing shingles, and concrete.
