ROLL CALL Present: Mayor Keith Hedrick, Deputy Mayor Gweneviere Depot, Councilor Rashaad Carter, Councilor Lisa McCabe, Councilor Paul Norris, Councilor Christine Piazza, Councilor Stephen Sheffield and City Clerk Edward Jacome II. NEW BUSINESS OR REFERRALS: A. ARPA Review – Parks & Recreation Director of Parks and Recreation Mary Hill presented the following ARPA requests based on priority: 1. Tennis Courts – Replacement & Addition of Pickleball | Estimated Cost: $997,000.00 2. Zbierski House – Exterior Work | Estimated Cost: $175,000.00 3. Basketball Court – Resurface | Estimated Cost: $90,000.00 4. Washington Park – Exercise Equipment | Estimated Cost: $25,000.00 5. Washington Park & EP Beach – Swing Replacement | Estimated Cost: $17,000.00 6. Washington Park & EP Beach – Internet | Estimated Cost: $50,000.00 There was brief discussion from the council on how items were prioritized and the concern of future price increases. B. ARPA Review – Public Works Director of Public Works Bill Robarge presented the following ARPA requests based on priority: 1. Municipal Roof | Estimated Cost: $1,200,000.00 2. Municipal Building Electrical Switchgear Room | Estimated Cost: $400,000.00 3. Municipal Document Control Room | Estimated Cost: $120,000.00 4. Municipal Rain Gardens | Estimated Cost: $25,000.00 There was brief discussion from the council on the roof necessity. III. EXECUTIVE SESSION Enter into Executive Session pursuant to CGS 1-200 (6)(D), upon motion and vote of the City Council. -To discuss the purchase of real estate by the City. Motion to enter into Executive Session pursuant to CGS 1-200 (6)(D), regarding real estate, and to include the Mayor and Council and Director of Utilities Ron Gaudet. Motion made by Deputy Mayor Depot, second by Councilor McCabe All in favor.
