Mayor - Lance Westcamp Mayor Lance Westcamp reported Mr. Dildine and the Madison Township Fire Department did another excellent job at the 9/11 Ceremony at Motts Military Museum. The Mayor acknowledged receiving a thank you poster from the participants in the Safety Town event at Groveport Presbyterian Church. Thanks to Council Member Jean Ann Hilbert the City was more involved this year during the week long course. The police department, the fire department and the whole community gets involved. B. Community Affairs Director - Patty Storts Community Affairs Director, Patty Storts, announced there will be mums for sale at Tuesday's Farmers Market. Council Member Cleary had been given some large Groveport Madison High School class composite pictures from the late seventies and early eighties graduating classes. The Class of '78 is in tack but the Class of '80 needs new glass in its frame. Council Members - Jean Ann Hilbert, Ed Dildine, Shawn Cleary, Becky Hutson, Scott Lockett and Chad Grashel Council Member Ed Dildine went over the Madison Township Fire Department's monthly report in the absence of Fire Chief Fasone. Mr. Dildine appreciated the Mayor's comments on the fire department's 9/11 ceremony. The museum was open at no cost on September 11th which brought in a steady stream of visitors. Both event speakers went to the City of Columbus' 9/11 ceremony and were interviewed by Channel 4. Council Member Cleary commented in light of what was going on in the Carolinas with Hurricane Florence, we all need to make sure we know what to do in an emergency.
