City Council

The Continued Meeting from Tuesday, December 18, 2007 of the City Council of the City of Hackensack was held at City Hall, 65 Central Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey, on Friday, December 28th, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. Mayor Meneses called the meeting to order and stated: “In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, Laws of 1975, adequate notice of this meeting was provided by sending a notice to The Record and the Star-Ledger and by posting a copy on the Bulletin Board in City Hall.” The Mayor then asked Mrs. Heck to call the roll: Present – Mayor Jorge E. Meneses, Deputy Mayor Michael R. Melfi via conference call, Councilman Marlin G. Townes, Jr., Councilwoman Karen K. Sasso, Debra A. Heck, City Clerk, City Attorney Joseph C. Zisa and CFO Margaret Cherone were present in Council Chambers, City Manager Stephen Lo Iacono and Councilman Charles McAuliffe were absent. He then asked everyone to stand for the flag salute. Mrs. Heck advised the Mayor that the docket was completed. A motion was made by Councilwoman Sasso and seconded by Councilman Townes to open the meeting to the public. Hearing no public comment a motion was made by Councilwoman Sasso and seconded by Councilman Townes to close the public portion of the meeting. A motion was made by Councilwoman Sasso and Seconded by Deputy Mayor Melfi to adjourn the meeting at 10:10 am. ________________________________ MAYOR JORGE E.
