Main Street, Hallsville, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. I. Call to Order II. Invocation – The invocation will be given by Mayor Steve Eitelman III. Pledge of Allegiance – The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Mayor Steve Eitelman IV. Consent Agenda – (All consent agenda items are considered routine by City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember requests an item be removed and considered separately.) 1. Police Department Summary for May 2015 2. Water Department Summary for May 2015 3. Permit Report for May 2015 4. Financial Report Summary for May 2015 V. Public Comments – (Limited to three minutes per person). VI. Discussion Items 1. Discuss with John LaFoy regarding Cypress Place. 2. Discuss the current information regarding the Emergency Siren System. 3. Discuss the current updates on the street repairs. 4. Discuss the possibility of additional railroad crossing. 5. Discuss City Park improvements. VII. Items to be Considered 1. Consider and act upon the approval of the Minutes of May 19, 2015. 2. Consider and act upon nominating a replacement Alderman for the current vacancy. 3. Consider and act upon approving the bid for the Cider Lane Drainage Improvements.  4. Consider and act upon approving Ordinance 2015-04 amending current Solicitor’s Permit Ordinance. 5. Consider and act upon approving Amended Ordinance 2015-05 the updated Rates/Fees list adding Solicitor Permit Fees. 6. Consider and act upon approving an increase the Sales Tax Rate by 1%. VIII.
