MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HAMILTON August 11, 2026 Notice is hereby given that a Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Hamilton, Texas will be held on Tuesday, the 11th of August 2026 at 12:00 PM in the City Hall, Hamilton, Texas, concerning the following matters: Item No. I: Call Meeting to order and announce a quorum present. 1. Opening Prayer 2. Pledge of Allegiance Item No. II: Public Comments. The Planning & Zoning Commission invites persons with comments on any agenda item to briefly address the Council. In addition, any member of the public can briefly address the Commission on items not on the agenda for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter should be referred to staff for study and/or placed on a future agenda. The Texas Attorney General Open Meetings Act prohibits the Commission from considering, discussing or taking any action on any item not listed on the posted agenda. Please keep your comments limited to three minutes or less. Item No. III: Consent Agenda. (The following item may be considered and acted upon in one motion. No separate discussion or action is necessary unless requested by the Chairman or a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, in which event those items will be pulled for separate discussion and action.) 1. Approve the July 7, 2026 minutes of the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Item No. IV: Agenda Deliberations. 1. Briefing and Discussion on Tiny Homes Item No. V: Adjourn Meeting I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the above notice of meeting of The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Hamilton, Texas is a true and correct copy of said notice posted in The City Hall of said City of Hamilton, Texas in a place convenient and readily accessible to the General Public at all times, and said notice was posted 28th of July, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. and remained so posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of meeting. The City Hall is accessible to the disabled. Disabled individuals requiring a reasonable accommodation must submit a request 48 hours prior to the meeting to the City Administrator.
