SPECIAL MINUTES OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OCTOBER 14, 2013 The special meeting of the Hammond Common Council of the City of Hammond, Lake County, Indiana was held on October 14, 2013 in the Hammond City Council Chambers. Council President Michael Opinker presided. City Clerk Robert J. Golec facilitated. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was recited by all. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Spitale, Venecz, Uylaki, Higgs, Emerson, Opinker ABSENT: Markovich, Kalwinski, Hinojosa TOTAL: 6 DISCUSSION OF: Proposed Doc No. 13-39 2014 Redevelopment Budget Councilwoman Venecz, supported by Councilman Spitale, moved for final passage. Councilwoman Venecz - As was discussed at the budget hearings, the Redevelopment budget has gone down but because Planning has now been incorporated into the department there is an increase. ROLL CALL VOTE (passage) AYES: Spitale, Venecz, Uylaki, Higgs, Emerson, Opinker NAYS: None ABSENT: Markovich, Kalwinski, Hinojosa Motion carried 6/0/3 ORDINANCE NO. 9223 PASSED Councilwoman Venecz, supported by Councilman Emerson, moved to adjourn.
