MINUTES OF THE COMMON COUNCIL L JANUARY 27, 2020 The regular meeting of the Hammond Common Council of the City of Hammond, Lake County, Indiana was held on January 27, 2020 in the Hammond City Council Chambers. Council President Dave Woerpel presided. City Clerk Robert J. Golec facilitated. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was recited by all. AYES: ALL APPROVAL OF CLAIMS Councilman Rakos, supported by Councilwoman Venecz, moved to accept the claims from January gt\ 2020 through January 22nd , 2020. Claim #240 through Claim #542, inclusive. A YES: ALL Councilman Rakos- On January 29th from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Schoop's 7235 Indianapolis Blvd, HC3 is having a fundraiser for the Hansen Branch Library Building located at Martha and Alabama. It's to help restore windows. When you place your order from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. just mention the HC3 fundraiser and they will donate 10% of sales that day. Prepared by Robert J. Not all ofus can get back there or want to go back there, and have a secret government, I like it out in the open.
