A training session was conducted by Terry Born, Sr. Property Appraisal Consultant, Department of Taxation, in
conjunction with Patricia Melochick, Sr. Deputy City Attorney, City of Hampton.
Present: Julianne Cyr, James Hunsecker, Thomas Perham, Sylvia Woods, Brian Gordineer, Libby Griebel,
Patricia Melochick, Jennifer Demillio, Sterling Carter, Trudy Clatterbaugh, Donald Cole, Drew

Training Session: Training began at 8:30 am with a presentation by Patricia Melochick, Sr. Deputy City
Attorney. The training continued with a webinar presented by Terry Born of the Department of Taxation. The
training session was concluded at 12:00 pm.

session given by the Virginia State Department of Taxation on January 8, 2018, at 9 a.m. This session includes information
related to re-assessment practices and Board of Review procedures.
