A. SX15-00002: Ansen & Ramona Jones, 202 Culotta Dr., LRSN 6000357, a special
exception to allow a Day Care 2 for 6 to 9 children at an existing single-family
home.
B. VA15-00006: Tommy Gray, 205 Atlantic Ave., LRSN 12006130, a variance to
increase the maximum percentage of the rear yard that can be covered by
accessory structures from 20% to 33.05% to allow a new 24’ x 32’ detached
garage in the rear yard of an existing single-family home.
C. VA15-00007: Peninsula Main VA, LLC, 1812 W. Mercury Blvd., LRSN 13002028, a
variance to increase the maximum height of a freestanding monument-style
business identification sign from 12’ to 25’ to allow a new 90-square-foot, 25-
foot-high freestanding monument-style business identification sign at an
existing mixed-use development.
D. VA15-00008: Brett & Patricia Cowan, 7 Hiram Crockett Ct., LRSN 8004891, a
variance to reduce the required freeboard in an AE-8 flood zone from 3’ to 2’
to allow a new 20’ x 30’ addition on the rear of an existing single-family home.
E. VA15-00010: Ann Barnard, 1 E. Lamington Rd., LRSN 8005294, a variance to
reduce the required exterior side yard setback from 15’ to 5.83’ to allow a
new single-family home on an existing vacant lot.
F. VA15-00011: Wythe Shopping Center LP, 2201 Kecoughtan Rd., LRSN 1003636,
a variance to reduce the required exterior side yard setback from 15’ to 0’ to
allow a roof to be constructed over an existing uncovered loading dock on
the side of an existing vacant retail space.
