C. (Continued from June 6, 2016) VA16-00015: Marshall Ramsey, 922 Thornbriar Court, LRSN 3005126, a variance to reduce a required side yard setback from 7.5’ to 3.81’ to allow a new approximately 22’ x 36’ carport in the side yard of an existing single-family dwelling. D. VA16-00024: Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, 1428 Big Bethel Rd., LRSN 5001177, a variance to increase the maximum height of a residential fence from 4’ to 8’ in the front yard and from 6’ to 8’ in the side and rear yards at an existing residential property.
