Hampton Coliseum Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes – April 27, 2021 Attending: (A) = absent Bob Boester ( ) Willie Brown (A) Asa Jenrette ( ) Matt Joyner ( ) Anne Rutherford (A) Samantha Snead ( ) Andrew Wilson (A) Terri Vander Vennet ( ) Benjamin Naidorf (A) Call to Order/Reading and Approval of Minutes: At 12:21 p.m., Chair Boester called the meeting to order. A motion was made by Ms. Snead to approve the Minutes from the March 23, 2021 meeting. Motion was seconded by Mr. Joyner. Chair Report/Announcements: Chair Boester welcomed and introduced new members Mr. Lang and Mr. Hubbard. Director’s Report: Ms. Vander Vennet the upcoming events on the schedule starting July 10, 2021. An overview of current COVID-19 restrictions on capacity and impacts to event planning were discussed. Ms. Vander Vennet shared application had been submitted for GBAC Cleaning certification and the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant. Highlighted was Senator Warner’s Roundtable to be held at the American Theatre, May 6th, to discuss the SVO grant efforts.
