Hampton Coliseum Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes – September 27, 2022 Attending: Woody Newman, Chair Samantha Snead, Vice-Chair Jay Lang Matt Joyner Ryan Lowrie Andrew Wilson Bob Boester, Emeritus Terri Vander Vennet, Director Absent: Visitors: No visitors in attendance. Asa Jenrette Ben Naidorf, Legal Call to Order and Approval of Minutes: The meeting was called to order at 12:04 P.M. A motion was made by Mr. Wilson to approve the June 28, 2022 meeting minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lang and passed unanimously. Chair Report: Chairman Newman addressed the two vacant committee positions and lead a discussion of applications received through the Board Bank. The committee agreed on candidates to recommend to Council. Ms. Vander Vennet will contact candidates to verify their continued interest in serving and Chairman Newman will send her a recommendation letter for submission to Council. Director Report: Ms. Vander Vennet gave an overview of past and upcoming events as well as an update on the scoreboard project and Professional Box Lacrosse League. Mr. Boester asked if the committee could have a live demonstration of scoreboard functions once installation is completed. Ms. Vander Vennet reminded members of hard hat tour of the Aquaplex scheduled for September 28, 2022. Other Business: New Business: Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 12:50 P.M.
