Hampton Coliseum Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes – May 23, 2023 12:00 P.M. Attending: Linda Curtis Lynne Hutton Asa Jenrette Matt Joyner Joyce Melvin-Jones Ryan Lowrie Woody Newman, Chair Bob Boester, Emeritus Ben Naidorf, Legal Terri Vander Vennet Charlie Gardner, Deputy Director Cheran Ivery, City Attorney Absent: Visitors: Andrew Wilson Samantha Snead, Vice Chair Call to Order and Approval of Minutes: The meeting was called to order at 12:00 P.M. A motion was made by Ms. Hutton to approve the April 24, 2023 meeting minutes. The motion was seconded by Ms. Melvin-Jones and passed unanimously. Chair Report: No Report Director Report: Past and upcoming events reviewed. Other Business: Ms. Ivery, City Attorney discussed potential uses of the Coliseum trademark for branding products, which could include entering a trademark agreement with a vendor to use our logo on a vendor product or the Coliseum to create their own branded products for sale.
