CAPI Committee Meeting Results June 21, 2017 – Community Development Conference Room- 5:00 PM Present: David Duxbury – District 1 Neighborhood Commissioner Fred Everett – District 5 Neighborhood Commissioner Steve Edwards Chair – Faith Based Commissioner Peggy Todd – At-Large Realtor Commissioner Staff Jasmine Bryson - Neighborhood Development Associate Keisha Whitley - Chief Neighborhood Specialist Absent: Lynn Allsbrook – Public Works Department “Chuck” McEachin – District 2 Neighborhood Commissioner Guest: None I. Discussed and Recommended the Location for the Fall 2017 Home Repair Blitz: After much discussion regarding the recommendation of the Blitz Area for the fall will be Old North Hampton, a vote was taken. The vote went as follows: Fred Everette – Yea Steve Edwards – Yea David Duxbury – Yea Peggy Todd – Yea The Committee approved the recommendation of the Old North Hampton Neighborhood for the fall. Old Business I. Grant Policy Change Discussion: It was decided that the significant change for the Annual Event Reduction part of the policy should read as follows: “Repeat Neighboring projects & events previously awarded a grant by the Neighborhood Commission will receive a 50% reduction of the last grant amount.” The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 PM The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19, 2017 @ 5 pm Agenda TBD Minutes by: Jasmine Bryson Page 1 of 1
