The public is invited to attend meetings and to observe the work and deliberations of the Neighborhood Commission. The public may also address the Neighborhood Commission during the agenda item “Items to be Presented by the Public” by signing up to speak. The sign-up sheet will be available to the public until the agenda item “Items to be Presented by the Public” is reached in the course of the meeting. Speakers will be recognized in the order in which they sign up and are asked to limit their comments to 5 minutes. ACTION REQUESTED: Election of the Chair of the Neighborhood Commission Suggested Language for the Motion – “I move that Joe Griffith be elected to serve as Chair of the Neighborhood Commission.” BACKGROUND STATEMENT: Joe Griffith has served as the Chair-Elect and has been a representative on the Neighborhood Commission since October 2019. Joe has indicated that he is willing to serve as the Chair. Nominations will also be taken from the floor.
