PENINSULA STADIUM AUTHORITY Minutes January 7th, 2019 The meeting was called to order by Jim Wilson, Chair. Others in attendance included: Pat Uribes, Randy Price, Frank Feagan, Wayne Gomes, Brenda Stokes, Sallie Marchello, Lola Perkins and Linda Williams. The December meeting was more of a social/end of year celebration hosted by the Peninsula Pilots. Treasurers report-no change, balance $101,060.94 PSA is expecting reimbursement of $7520 from the City for the Insurance payment. There is a claim in the process for the lightning strike that occured in September which damaged the Wifi and PA systems. Henry is estimating the damage at $59,000. Frank made a motion to go ahead and start making the repairs, up to $60,000, in case the insurance company does not pay. Wayne seconded the motion and it was approved by the Committee. Jim reminded the Committee that we were sent a Conflict of Interest form and it needs to be completed and turned into the City by February 1st. Current projects-parking lots are in the process of being marked with parking spaces. Painting contractor is on site now and finishing up the painting of the metal poles in the stadium seating. They should be done with that project by Friday 1-11-19. The New Building project is not going well, many delays such as co-ordination problems, bad weather and a broken pile driver. It was suggested by Lola that the City Project Manager, Ron Sterling, speak with the Contractor to get things moving along. Overflow parking project on Pembroke Ave by the Auction Building. Frank and Randy will work with the Boy Scouts to establish a pathway in the wooded area and build a walking bridge to access additional parking. Prior to starting this project, Lola will take the lead to set up a meeting to include the key players for this project. They include: Frank Feagan, Allison Eubank and Steve Shapiro. The goal of this meeting is to discuss the specifics and what work permits are necessary, etc. Once this is done, then the Boy Scouts can start the project. Focus for 2019 is: Field Drainage, Utilities and Field work Jim presented a copy of a draft for Future Projects to Consider a Planning Process. He wants us to review these items so that when we come back for our February meeting we can discuss them. Lola wanted to remind us that the City has many resources that we can use for press releases such as, Convention & Visitors Bureau, Marketing & Outreach and the City Channel. Jim recommended that a couple of members on this Committee be replaced from the Board for failure to attend our meetings due to work obligation conflicts. The Stadium Authority will be looking for future replacment members. Meeting was adjourned by Jim Wilson.

Peninsula Stadium Authority Monthly Meeting Monday January 7,2019 Noon in the Conference room at War Memorial Stadium Meeting Agenda Approval of the December 3, meeting Agenda Treasurers Report Discussion of the Current Capital Improvement projects underway at War Memorial Stadium. Status of Lighting Strike for Insurance Claims. Discussion on working to get a copy of the current budget for Capital improvement projects. Discussion on time table for future meeting: planning with City Representatives to discuss Overflow Parking concerns, possible Shuttle to the stadium for Games and safety concerns entering and exiting the parking lot. Planning for the field work in the Fall of 2019. Discussion with the Pilots Staff on planning projects in the stadium for the Winter time Frame of January – May of 2019. Discussion of Planning Process for the Future consideration of Future Capital Improvement projects.
