No other matters were discussed. The PSA had initially discussed the proposed concept floorplan, prepared by Woolpert, at the January 9, 2023, meeting. At that meeting, it was determined that additional discussion was necessary for the following areas: doors, windows, screen wall, HVAC, floor drains, materials and fixtures, and general questions. Doors  General discussions centered on additional access through the building so that individuals would have the option of more than one exterior door from both the visitor side and home side locker rooms.  A motion for the architect to explore additional access to each locker room (with no exterior doors along the back of the building (outside of the fence line)) was made by Garth and seconded by Randy. All voted and the motion passed unanimously. o The PSA discussed the following ideas but is open to other suggestions from Woolpert.  Visitor Side  Add an interior “access” (not “exit”) door between the coach/manager office and the weight room – then individual could exit via the weight’s room’s exterior door shown on the concept plan or an additional exterior door could be added on the left side of the building; or  No additional interior doors but add an additional exterior door from the coach/manager’s office on the left side of the building.  Home Side  2 1/26/2023  Add an interior “access” (not “exit”) door between the coach locker room and the mechanical room – then individual could exit via the mechanical room’s exterior door shown on the concept plan. Other Discussion Items Included  General discussions on the remaining areas resulted in a list of questions and observations for the architect. No formal motions were necessary or offered; however, a summary will be provided to Woolpert for consideration in their final design concept.  The following is not a complete list of those questions / observations, but it is a sample: o Across the board, there is a desire for easy maintenance and durability. o Hookups should be sufficient for commercial capacity equipment. o More than adequate floor drains on the floors adjacent to the showers, and wherever necessary, including coach locker room, umpire locker room, training room, and laundry room. o Durable flooring / tiles (must hold up to cleats). o PSA is not requesting the inclusion of windows. o Woolpert should provide more details for the Screen Wall, including cost estimate and maintenance requirements. The Chair adjourned the meeting at 7:56 p.m. Next regular meeting on February 6, 2023, at 12:00 (noon) War Memorial Stadium.
