CALL TO ORDER - ROLL CALL Sharmin Shahjahan called the meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. PRESENT: Committee Daniel Corona, Eira Corral (Board Liaison), Members: Mathew Idicula, James Kemper, Gayle Peneschi, Sharmin Shahjahan, Ron Woods ABSENT: Committee Debra McDonald Members: ALSO PRESENT: 2. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA. Motion by Gayle Peneschi to accept agenda. Second by Eira Corral. Vote: Voice Vote: All Ayes. Motion Carried. 3. PRESENTATIONS/ REPORTS: 3-a. None Scheduled. 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February 19, 2013 ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES. Motion by Eira Corral to accept agenda. Second by Gayle Peneschi. Kids @ Hope Event: April 6, 2013: Wendy Bednarek is providing materials for the committee and commission table. Any committee member is welcome to attend. 5-b. Community Leader’s Reception: Wendy Bednarek will get attendee list from VM Office and Eira Corral. 6. TOWNHALL SESSION: Persons wishing to address the public body must register prior to Call to Order. Please note that public comment is limited to 5 minutes per speaker. 7. OLD BUSINESS (NON-ACTION ITEMS): 7- a. Eira Corral gave an update on the immigration reform forum idea. Ms. Corral is continuing to gather information and looking to do something in the fall of 2013. 8. NEW BUSINESS (NON-ACTION ITEMS): 8-a. None Scheduled. 9.
