STATED TOWN BOARD MEETING JANUARY 23, 2018 The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall,' 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. CLAVIN, JR., Receiver of Taxes Supervisor Gillen asked Councilman Ambrosino to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Supervisor Gillen honored two brave volunteer firefighters: Ex-Chief Robert Marschall and Ex-Chief Timothy Green from the North Bellmore Fire Department. The two firefighters were recognized for serving their community for 50 years. Supervisor Gillen, joined by Councilman Dunne, presented citations to both firefighters in recognition and thanked them for their outstanding service to our town and community.
