SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING OCTOBER 8, 2019 The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, I Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at I 1:30 A.M. Roll was called: PRESENT: LAURA A. GILLEN, Supervisor BRUCE BLAKEMAN, Councilman ANTHONY P. D'ESPOSITO, Councilman DENNIS DUNNE, SR., Councilman DOROTHY L. GOOSBY, Senior Councilwoman THOMAS A. MUSCARELLA, Councilman Members of the Town Board ALSO PRESENT: SYLVIA A. CABANA, Town Clerk GASPARE TUMMINELLO, Deputy Town Clerk JOSEPH J. RA, Town Attorney DOMINICK A. LONGOBARDI, Second Deputy Comptroller Supervisor Gillen asked Councilwoman Goosby to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Supervisor Gillen announced that today's meeting will be holding an Administrative Calendar only, due to the religious observance of the Jewish Holiday Yorn Kippur and that the meeting would conclude no later than 3:00 P.M. The Supervisor stated that in addition, since this is a special meeting, there would be no public comment session at the conclusion of the Administrative Calendar.
