STATED TOWN BOARD MEETING JULY 28, 2020 The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, I Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 11 :00 A.M. Roll was called: PRESENT: DONALD X. CLAVIN, JR., Supervisor BRUCE BLAKEMAN, Councilman CHRISTOPHER CARINI, Councilman ANTHONY P. D'ESPOSITO, Councilman DENNIS DUNNE, SR., Councilman DOROTHY L. GOOSBY, Senior Councilwoman THOMAS A. MUSCARELLA, Councilman Members of the Town Board ALSO PRESENT: KA TE MURRAY, Town Clerk SUSAN M. POKALSKY, Deputy Town Clerk JOSEPH NOCELLA, Chief of Staff JOHN MASTROMARINO, Town Comptroller Supervisor Clavin welcomed everyone to the Town Board meeting and noted due to the COVID -I 9 Pandemic and consistent with the Governor's Emergency Declaration and Executive Orders as well as the Town's Emergency Declaration, this meeting will be live streamed so that all members of the public who wish to listen and observe the meeting will be able to do so. In addition, the meeting will be recorded and transcribed. Public comments for Public Hearings have been received via e-mail. Supervisor Clavin asked Councilman Dunne to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Supervisor Clavin requested a moment of silence in remembrance of civil-rights leader and icon in American History, Congressman John Lewis. Councilwoman Goosby made motion to suspend the rules for the meeting, seconded by Councilman Blakeman. * * * * * * * * * * * * ADMINISTRA TlVE CALENDAR CASE NUMBERS & RESOLUTIONS 30283 Resolution - Authorizing the grant of funds to Northwell Health, to be paid 846-2020 from monies received by the Town through the "CARES ACT", to establish SUPV/B multiple Covid-19 anti-body testing sites throughout the Town of Hempstead - TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD SUBMITTED VIA E-MAIL: IN FAVOR: John Clark CONCERNS: Felix Procacci - 99 - July 28, 2020 30283 Resolution -Authorizing the transfer of monies received by the Town of 1147 Hempstead through the "CARES ACT" to fund unbudgeted necessary 847-2020 expenses incurred directly related to the Covid-19 pandemic - TOWN OF SUPV/B HEMPSTEAD SUBMITTED VIA E-MAIL: IN FAVOR: John Clark CONCERNS: Felix Procacci 30283 Resolution - Authorizing the amendment to the 2020 adopted budget to 1147 increase general fund estimated, an increase to general fund appropriations, an 848-2020 increase to the general fund undistributed other expense account and the SUPV/B increase of the "CARES ACT" assistance revenue account in the Town of Hempstead general fund undistributed - TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD SUBMITTED VIA E-MAIL: IN FAVOR: John Clark CONCERNS: Felix Procacci No further business to come before the Board, it was on motion of Councilwoman Goosby, seconded by Councilman D'Esposito, and unanimously voted upon roll call that the Meeting be ADJOURNED. * * * * * * * * * * * * y th - I 00 -
