STATED TOWN BOARD MEETING JANUARY 19, 2021 The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, I Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. POKALSKY, Deputy Town Clerk JOSEPH NOCELLA, Chief of Staff CHARLES KOVIT, Senior Deputy Town Attorney JOHN MASTROMARINO, Town Comptroller Supervisor Clavin asked Councilwoman Goosby to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Supervisor Clavin noted due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and consistent with the Governor's Executive Orders, this meeting will be live streamed so that all members of the public who wish to listen and observe the meeting will be able to do so. In addition, the meeting will be recorded and transcribed. Public comments for Public Hearings today will allow for in person participation as well as telephonic via "Go to Webinar". Councilman Blakeman motioned to take the S.E.Q.R. Negative Declaration that relates to the BZO Amendment out of order from the Administrative Calendar and to vote on it separately prior to voting for the amendment. This motion was seconded by Councilwoman Goosby.
