STATED TOWN BOARD MEETING OCTOBER 5, 2021 The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 10:30AM. POKALSKY, Deputy Town Clerk JACK LIBERT, Chief of Staff JOSEPH NOCELLA, Town Attorney JOHN MASTROMARINO, Town Comptroller JEANINE DRISCOLL, Receiver of Taxes Supervisor Clavin asked Receiver of Taxes, Jeanine Driscoll to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Supervisor Clavin presented citations and pins to William Dougherty, Daniel Brenes and Jason Williams from the Department of Sanitation in recognition of putting their lives on the line by continuing to work hard and doing a wonderful job during the Covid pandemic. Councilman Dunne also thanked the workers for such a wonderful job done. Councilman Blakeman asked everyone to join with him for a moment of silence for Elizabeth Muller, who passed away over the weekend. The Councilman made mention that Elizabeth worked for the Town Board for many years and was also his assistant for four years, will be known for her hard work and dedication, loyalty, friendship, sense of humor and all that she contributed to Town Government. Councilman Dunne said a few words in remembrance of Elizabeth Muller.
