Record of Minutes of A Special Called Meeting on September 20, 2022
A special called meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Henderson,
Kentucky, was held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., prevailing time, in the third
floor Assembly Room of the Municipal Center, 222 First Street, Henderson, Kentucky,
designated as the primary location for this video teleconference meeting allowed under KRS
61.826.

OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON, ESTABLISHING AN ENTERTAINMENT DESTINATION
CENTER IN THE DOWNTOWN OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON; AND DIRECTING THE
CITY OF HENDERSON TO APPLY FOR AN ENTERTAINMENT DESTINATION CENTER
LICENSE FROM THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE
CONTROL; AND FURTHER ESTABLISHING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A LICENSEE
TO SELL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WITHIN THE COMMON AREAS OF THE
ENTERTAINMENT DESTINATION CENTER

PIPELINE EXTENSION TO PRATT PAPER TO ROE ENTERPRISES, INC. D/B/A SWARTZ
PIPELINE CONTRACTING OF OLYMPIA, KENTUCKY, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,837,000.00
MOTION by Commissioner Pruitt, seconded by Commissioner Vowels, authorizing the
purchase of a natural gas pipeline extension project to Pratt Paper to Roe Enterprises, Inc., D/B/A
Swartz Pipeline Contracting of Olympia, Kentucky, in the amount of $1,837,000.00, in strict ac-
cordance with their bid as submitted pursuant to Bid Reference #22-18.

Motion by Commissioner Vowels, seconded by Commissioner Pruitt, that the Board of
Commissioners go into Executive Session pursuant to the provisions of KRS 61.810(1)(b) for
purpose of deliberation relating to the possible purchase of property in the location of North
Water Street, Fifth Street, and Elm Street and pursuant to the provisions of KRS 61.810(1)(g) for
discussion relating to the possible siting of a business for economic development.
