110 CITY OF HENDERSON – RECORD BOOK Record of Minutes of A Special Called Meeting on May 20, 2025 A special called meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Henderson, Kentucky, was held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., prevailing time, in the third floor Assembly Room of the Municipal Center, 222 First Street, Henderson, Kentucky, designated as the primary location for this video teleconference meeting allowed under KRS 61.826. There were present Mayor Bradley S. Staton presiding: PRESENT: Commissioner Rodney Thomas Commissioner Robert N. Pruitt, Sr. Commissioner Nicholas E. The vote was called. ANTHONY BROOKS PARK, COMMUNITY PARK, EAST END PARK, KIMMEL PARK, DEACONESS HENDERSON SPORTSPLEX AND PLAYGROUNDS IN ALL CITY PARKS EXCEPT DURING SPECIAL EVENTS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON MOTION by Commissioner Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Whitt, that the ordinance be adopted. Staton, Mayor ATTEST: May 20, 2025 Jessa Brandon, City Clerk________________________ ORDINANCE NO. 19-25: SECOND READ ORDINANCE AMENDING JOB CLASSIFICATIONS AND PAY PLAN AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AMENDMENT TO JOB CLASSIFICATIONS AND PAY PLAN BY ELIMINATING THE HAZARDOUS DUTY PAY PLANS AND RETURNING ALL AFFECTED POSITIONS INTO THE CITY’S CURRENT PAY PLAN EFFECTIVE MAY 26, 2025 MOTION by Commissioner Whitt, seconded by Commissioner Thomas, that the ordinance be adopted. 112 CITY OF HENDERSON – RECORD BOOK Record of Minutes of A Special Called Meeting on May 20, 2025 The vote was called. Staton, Mayor ATTEST: May 20, 2025 Jessa Brandon, City Clerk________________________ MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 38-25: MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING ARTICLE 152 — ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION POLICY, ARTICLE 210 — BASIC SALARY SCHEDULE, ARTICLE 212 — ENTRANCE RATE OF PAY, ARTICLE 214 — PAY PLAN, ARTICLE 216 — PERFORMANCE PAY INCREASES AND ARTICLE 220 — RATE OF PAY UPON JOB CLASSIFICATION CHANGE, OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON EMPLOYEE MANUAL MOTION by Commissioner Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Pruitt, to make proposed amendments to the City of Henderson Employee Manual. DYLAN WARD, City Manager, clarified that these amendments were to accommodate the previously approved combination of the hazardous duty and non-hazardous duty pay plans into a single pay plan. The vote was called.
