I. CALL TO ORDER
(Minutes/Discussion)
Mayor Pro Tem Dan H. Stewart called the Committee Meeting to order at 3:45
p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 240 South Water Street,
Henderson, Nevada 89015.
Mayor Pro Tem Stewart said to make it easier for residents to voice their
comments, there will be two public comment periods, one at the beginning of
the meeting, designated for comments related to items on the agenda, and one
at the end of the meeting, for general public comment.
Mayor Pro Tem Stewart stated the meeting is being video recorded and
streamed live to the Internet and on YouTube.
II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING

Lisa Corrado, Community Development and Services Director, provided a
summary of this item and stated Councilman Jim Seebock identified a
typographical error on Page 2 in the Findings of Fact of the Ordinance. She said
it states the proposed zone change will have significant adverse impact;
however, it should state it will not have significant adverse impacts.
Note: The updated version of this Ordinance was added to the backup
materials.

Responding to an inquiry from Councilman Dan Shaw regarding why this site is
not being annexed if City Wastewater services are rendered, Lance Olson,
Director of Public Works, stated the property owner has not made that request.
Councilman Shaw stated this item will be referred to the Regular Meeting for
adoption; however, he requested staff discuss annexing the property in order to
obtain City Wastewater services for the next time this item is presented to the
Council.
