CA-7 GRANT AWARD STATE OF NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY JOINING FORCES 2016 POLICE DEPARTMENT For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Accept Accept a grant award from the State of Nevada, Office of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety, Joining Forces 2016 Grant for the City of Henderson Police Department for overtime related costs, to continue statewide, multi-jurisdictional traffic enforcement events that focus on reducing fatalities and serious injury accidents in Nevada, and to enforce safety belt, child safety seat, speed enforcement, pedestrian safety and DUI laws in the amount of $200,400.00. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Annual renewals of the software support services provided by OpenText for a period of three years in an estimated annual amount of $51,300.00 for FY15/16; $75,000.00 for FY16/17; and $83,000.00 for FY17/18.
