RECOMMENDATION: Approve Redevelopment Agency Advisory Commission meeting minutes of February 27, 2024. 2 2023/2024 BUDGET AUGMENTATION REDEVELOPMENT For Information and Discussion Only A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, PROVIDING FOR THE AUGMENTATION OF THE 2023/2024 BUDGET WITH FUNDS IN THE FORM OF RESOURCES ANTICIPATED TO EXCEED THAT BUDGETED AND RECITING THE APPROPRIATIONS TO BE AUGMENTED. Redevelopment Agency Advisory Commission Meeting Page 3 of 6 Tuesday, June 25, 2024 - Agenda 3 FUNDING AGREEMENT TO ALLOCATE CONSTRUCTION FUNDING FOR SHADE STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION REDEVELOPMENT For Information and Discussion Only A Funding Agreement between the City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency and the City of Henderson to fund the cost of installing additional shade structures on the Water Street Events Plaza located within the Downtown Redevelopment Area, in an amount not to exceed $1,500,000. 4 AMENDED LAND PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT SALE OF APPROXIMATELY 7.88 ACRES OF VACANT LAND IDENTIFIED AS CLARK COUNTY ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER 161-35-302-007, GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF BOULDER HIGHWAY AND BROADBENT BOULEVARD TO HAND PROPERTY HOLDING COMPANY, A NEVADA NONPROFIT CORPORATION REDEVELOPMENT For Information and Discussion Only Amended Land Purchase and Sale Agreement between the City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency, Clark County, Nevada, and HAND Property Holding Company, a Nevada nonprofit corporation, for the sale of approximately 7.88 acres of real property identified as Clark County Assessor’s parcel number 161- 35-302-007 generally located at the Southeast corner of Boulder Highway and Broadbent Boulevard for the appraised value of $2,060,000.00 and authorization for the Executive Director to execute and deliver all documents to be executed and delivered by the Agency thereunder. Redevelopment Agency Advisory Commission Meeting Page 4 of 6 Tuesday, June 25, 2024 - Agenda 5 ASSIGNMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT SUNRISE RANCH APARTMENTS LLC REDEVELOPMENT For Information and Discussion Only Assignment and Assumption of Purchase and Sale Agreement between the City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency (the “Agency”), HAND PROPERTY HOLDING COMPANY, Nevada nonprofit corporation (“Participant”), and SUNRISE RANCH APARTMENTS LLC, approving a transfer of Assignment under Section 13.5 in the Purchase and Sale Agreement, dated as of February 20, 2024, between the Agency and Participant, with respect to certain real property known as Clark County Assessor’s Parcel Number 161-35-302-007 generally located at the Southeast corner of Boulder Highway and Broadbent Boulevard. 6 THIRD QUARTER FY24 FINANCIAL UPDATE REDEVELOPMENT For Information and Discussion Only Financial update for the Downtown, Tuscany, Cornerstone, Eastside, and Lakemoor Canyon Redevelopment Areas and the administration thereof as of March 31, 2024. 7 2023/2024 BUDGET AUGMENTATION REDEVELOPMENT For Information and Discussion Only A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, PROVIDING FOR THE AUGMENTATION OF THE 2023/2024 BUDGET WITH FUNDS IN THE FORM OF RESOURCES ANTICIPATED TO EXCEED THAT BUDGETED AND RECITING THE APPROPRIATIONS TO BE AUGMENTED. Redevelopment Agency Advisory Commission Meeting Page 5 of 6 Tuesday, June 25, 2024 - Agenda 8 FUNDING AGREEMENT TO ALLOCATE CONSTRUCTION FUNDING FOR FIRE STATION 81 IMPROVEMENTS REDEVELOPMENT For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Approval A Funding Agreement between the City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency and the City of Henderson to fund a portion of the construction costs associated with renovations to the future location of Fire Station 81, in an amount not to exceed $8,100,704.00. 9 FUNDING AGREEMENT TO ALLOCATE CONSTRUCTION FUNDING FOR FIRE STATION 82 IMPROVEMENTS REDEVELOPMENT Recommend Approval. RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Approval A Funding Agreement between the City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency and the City of Henderson to fund the construction portion of Fire Station 82 improvements, in an amount not to exceed $3,653,692.00.
