NOTICE
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE COVID-19-RELATED PUBLIC GATHERING
RESTRICTIONS, THERE WILL BE NO IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE AT THIS MEETING;
HOWEVER, THERE WILL BE A MICROPHONE SET UP IN THE CITY HALL LOBBY FOR

PERIODS AND FOR PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS. ALL GOVERNOR ISSUED SOCIAL
DISTANCING AND MASK MANDATES WILL BE ENFORCED. This meeting is being
conducted in conformance with the State of Nevada Executive Department Declaration of
Emergency Directive 006, dated March 22, 2020, as extended by Emergency Directive 029,
dated July 31, 2020, extending public meeting closures and restrictions for the duration of
the current state of emergency, unless terminated by a subsequent directive or by operation
of law associated with lifting the Declaration of Emergency. Please check

The Mayor/Chair reserves the right to hear agenda items out of order, combine two or more

designated public comment sections. THERE WILL BE NO IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE

Public comment will be taken during the designated Public Comment periods and on
Public Hearing items using the WebEx link provided below. There will also be a microphone
set up in the City Hall lobby for in-person comment during the two designated public
comment periods and public hearing items. Individuals will be limited to three (3) minutes
and spokespersons for a group will be limited to ten (10) minutes at the discretion of the
Mayor/Chair. The Mayor/Chair reserves the right to curtail abusive, offensive, inflammatory,
or repetitive comments that disrupt, disturb, or otherwise impede the orderly conduct of the
meeting. See NRS 241.030(4)(a). Examples of disruptive conduct include, without
limitation, yelling, stamping of feet, whistles, applause, heckling, name calling, use of
profanity, personal attacks, intimidation, threats, or any other comments intended to impede
the meeting or infringe on the rights of the Henderson City Council, City staff, or meeting
participants.

RDA-2 UPDATE ON THE PAYMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT 18 PERCENT PUBLIC
EDUCATION SET-ASIDE FUNDS TO THE CLARK COUNTY SCHOOL
DISTRICT AND PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOLS LOCATED WITHIN ELIGIBLE
REDEVELOPMENT AREAS

RECOMMENDATION: Accept
Update on the distribution of the 2019-2020 City of Henderson
Redevelopment Agency 18 percent Public Education Set-Aside Funds to the
eligible Clark County School District and public charter schools located in or
within one (1) mile of the Downtown and Eastside Redevelopment Areas, to
assist students in recovering learning losses due to school closures mandated
by the State of Nevada in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) global
pandemic.
VI. CHAIRMAN\MEMBER COMMENTS
The Chairman and Members may speak on any subject under this section of the
agenda. The Chairman and Members may comment on matters including,
without limitation, future agenda items, upcoming meeting dates, and meeting
procedures. Comments made cannot be acted upon or discussed at this
meeting but may be placed on a future agenda for consideration by the
Redevelopment Agency.
