CALL TO ORDER In attendance in person: Ralph Miller In attendance via zoom: Caroline Gunther, Jared Bellmund, John Ryan, Jerry Fitzgerald 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. October 2021 Downtown Advisory Board Minutes Ralph Miller voted to approve the minutes. Caroline Gunther seconded. John Ryan, Jared Bellmund, Ralph Miller, Jerry Fitzgerald and Caroline Gunther approved. 3. NEW BUSINESS 1. Private Club Ordinance Update Planning manager Matt Manley joined the call to share his staff report regarding the private club ordinance. Discussion - Local private club definition is different than the ABC definition of private club. Discussion related to how to measure the distance. There is not current language of how to measure. Proposal is for no private club to be within 300 feet on the same street - essentially in the same block. Distinguish private clubs that are required by the state vs not. Caroline Gunther and Jared Bellmund are in favor of no private club restrictions as a way to allow private property use. Private bar vs private club definition John Ryan - asked about grandfathering in current businesses - if they have it on either end of the block could be removed. OLD BUSINESS Project Updates - Parking Garage, 7th Ave Streetscape, Pivot Grants Jamie Carpenter gave an update on pending projects. 5.
