CITY OF HENDERSONVILLE ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY BOARD Operations Center – Assembly Room | 305 Williams St. | Hendersonville, NC 28792 Tuesday, February 10, 2026 – 4:30 PM MINUTES CALL TO ORDER Meeting was called to order at 4:39 p.m. Richard Harris, Emily Davidson, and Jill Carter were absent. APPROVAL OF AGENDA There were not enough in person members so a quorum was not met for voting. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Approval of January 2026 meeting minutes - There were not enough in person members so a quorum was not met for voting. BUSINESS Through the Trees Presentation - Yvette Brooks, Executive Director https://throughthetrees.us/index.html Mudd Creek Signage Cost - Caitlyn Gendusa, Staff Liaison - 5 minutes $9,000 which would be 3-4 signs with design and material ESB budget to contribute: $4,500. A vote will be delayed until the next meeting on approving funds to purchase. Open applications for student member - Virginia Tegel, Member - 7 minutes There is an Interact meeting on 2/25. Alicia and Gina are talking to the group. Caitlyn is going to send Status of open seats on ESB - Caitlyn Gendusa, Staff Liaison - 5 minutes City Council will likely vote on filling these seats at their March meeting. Virginia is going to spread the word at the upcoming Green Drinks event in Hendersonville.
