CITY OF HENDERSONVILLE ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY BOARD HENDO EARTH FEST SUBCOMMITTEE Operations Center – Assembly Room | 305 Williams St. | Hendersonville, NC 28792 Tuesday, October 28, 2025 – 5:15 PM MINUTES Present: Caitlyn Gendusa, Virginia Tegel, Emily Davidson, and Jill Carter BUSINESS 1. Update on business sponsorships - Elle Travis and Virginia Tegel $1,422.45 total needed to raise 8am-3pm at 54.45 per hour per officer x3 = $1,143.45 Liability insurance = $279.00 $1,000 secured from Self-Help Credit Union, leaving $422.45 left to raise Caitlyn to look into if Friends of Downtown Hendersonville has sponsorship guidelines ex. Tiers of sponsorships, etc Virginia would like to reach out to Self Help Credit Union again but thinks we should sit tight for now. Caitlyn to send reminder when sending out emails to please email me if they can and cannot make meetings. Caitlyn will send out calendar invite for meetings. Caitlyn to add to ESB retreat if we want to still have Hendo Earth Fest, decide if we don’t have event due to capacity. Caitlyn will include Paulina from Self Help Credit Union on invites. 2. Discuss positions still needing fulfillment: Chair and Vice Chair - Virginia Tegel and Emily Davidson Caitlyn will email past Hendo Earth Fest volunteers. At next ESB meeting, members will discuss if we will still have Hendo Earth Fest since currently there is not enough participation. 3.
