Public Relations Update – Mary Jo Padgett B. Conditional Zoning Districts – N/A C. Approval of Amended Annual Schedule of Regular Meetings Motion to approve: Becca Doll 5. OLD BUSINESS A. Tree Board Ordinance Revision Committee Update – Glenn Lange Updated Board on progress being made and synopsis of last meeting. Process is going well and civil thus far. There as discussion about whether to include language concerning steep slopes, stream bank buffers, and mass grading. B. Tree Canopy Study Mark Stierwalt updated status of the study with an upcoming meeting on Monday July 24 to discuss initial results. C. Pollinator Bed Traffic Island Four Seasons Boulevard Project is completed and being watered daily by City staff. D. Pollinator Bed Behind City Pump Station RFP coming this Fall TREE BOARD - REGULAR MEETING – July 18, 2023 Page | 1  E. NeighborWoods & Other Tree Planting Projects for 2023 The Lincoln Circle has been pushed back so the Tree Board can address the HAA boards concerns. Council Member Roundtree will meet with HAA Board in September. F. Bee City Changes Tree Board agreed to cover the project requirements for Bee City Status leaving the Education and Outreach components to the Environmental Sustainability Board. 6. OTHER BUSINESS A. Staff Comments- Mac Brackett announced his retirement from the Tree Board after 23 years to take effect on December 31st 2023. B. Change to Tree Board Bylaws The Chairman made the board aware that at the next meeting he would put forth a bylaw change to align the bylaws to the city’s ordinances concerning board members absenteeism. At the next meeting 6 of the seven members will have to agree and sign the document for the changes to occur. C. Utility Update – N/A 7.
