NEW BUSINESS A. Public Relations Update – Mary Jo Padgett Arbor day Celebration May 12th at 12:00 at Tom’s Park- Will plant a Stewartia B. Conditional Zoning Districts – N/A C. Bee City – Joe Peiso Meeting with Patrice German on Friday to discuss increasing volunteering opportunities. 5. OLD BUSINESS A. Changes to City Ordinances/Zoning Concerning Trees – Glenn Lange Committee has been formed. Mark will schedule first meeting. Plan is to move ahead efficiently. B. Tree Board Banner - Delivered C. Canopy Study Grant- 3 Months to complete once paperwork is signed. D. Pollinator Bed Traffic Island Four Seasons Boulevard Process has begun, need to get water tap installed. Tree Board Fund Community Foundation – Check has been cut. F. NeighborWoods & Other Tree Planting Projects for 2023 Focus on impacted communities Need flyers to hand out for advertising. 6. OTHER BUSINESS A. Staff Comments – Looking at some possible changes to the Bee City USA Contract B. 2023/2024 Tree Board Budget- C. Greenworks to supply 200 trees for $20/per tree for fall 2023 D. Glen L. to be reimbursed for tent purchase in July. E. Board is down one member 7.
