Adjournment Anyone needing accommodations due to disabilities, please contact the ADA Coordinator at 615-822-1016 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. 1  CITY OF HENDERSONVILLE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES April 25th, 2023 Conference Room 1 5:00pm Present: Alderman Mark Skidmore (Chairman), Alderman Eddie Roberson (Vice- Chairman), Alderman Michael Martin (Secretary) Also Present: Mayor Jamie Clary, Alderman Jim Waters, Alderman Terri Goodwin, COO Jesse Eckenroth, Public Works Director Sarah Lock, Parks Director Andy Gilley, Jason Hollars, Chris Laginess (Glen Oak HOA), Tony Cameli (Street Lighting Committee) Agenda Chairman Skidmore called the meeting to order at 5:00pm. Acceptance of the Agenda Alderman Roberson requested a motion to move agenda item #4 to agenda item #1. Alderman Martin requested a motion to move agenda item #7 to agenda item #2. Motion: Alderman Roberson Second: Alderman Martin Vote: Passed unanimously ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS: None OTHER AGENDA ITEMS 1. Southern Trace Waiver Request Chris Laginess from Glen Oak HOA requested a traffic study to be done on Southern Trace. Alderman Roberson made a motion for the traffic study to be done and the results to be shared with the HOA. 2 Motion: Alderman Roberson Second: Alderman Martin Vote: Passed Unanimously 2. Street Lighting Committee Review Street Lighting Committee member Tony Cameli gave an update on the current status of the streetlights within the city. He reported that he had analyzed and went through all the city costs regarding the streetlighting. The next Streetlight Committee meeting is on May 11th, 2023. 3. Trash Collection Update Director Lock reported a positive update with the trash collection. Overall trash pickup has been staying on track with no major issues to report. 4. FY24 Draft Budget Review COO Jesse Eckenroth shared data and updates on the FY24 Draft Budget Review. Some of the items discussed in the review were the operating budget, medical costs, COLA’s, street paving, and investments. 5. Traffic Signal at Drakes Creek and Stop 30 Director Lock reported that the light is functioning for now, but they are still trying to locate a MMU (Malfunction Monitor Unit) for the cabinet. There is no current estimate date for delivery. 6. Light Synchronization Update Director Lock reported that everything is progressing well. They are currently making the connection to the fiber outside City Hall and will be connecting it inside City Hall shortly. She also stated that the project is still within the budget. 7. Sanders Ferry Greenway Update Director Lock advised that the project is progressing well. She also reported that there has been approval on the boardwalks, and they are set to begin construction in May. 3  8. Other Business Chairman Skidmore asked about the current status of the limb pickup. Director Lock advised that all routes have been resumed and she will look into areas that still need service.
