Any item may be removed from the Consent Agenda by request of the Mayor/Council Member) a) Minutes for the Regular Session March 10, 2025, and Work Session March 24, 2025 5. Citizen Concerns If anyone would like to address the Council on an item other than a public hearing item during the time of public comment, please sign up with the Town Clerk prior to the meeting. Each speaker is asked to limit comments to 5 minutes. Please provide the clerk with copies of any handouts you have for the Council. Although the Council is interested in hearing your concerns, speakers should not expect action or deliberation on subject matter brought up during the Public Comment segment. Topics requiring further investigation will be referred to the appropriate Town Staff and may be scheduled for a future agenda. New Business a) Approve Upset Bid for 101,103,105 Railroad Avenue properties, 6th round b) Approve hiring of Archsmith Studio for Restoration of the Hertford State Theatre c) Budget Amendments d) Street Closure – Memorial Day Ceremony – American Legion May 24, 2025 e) Budget – overview and considerations • Rate increases in Sewer – 3rd year 2.4% • Solid waste fee increase - $15 to $18 • Possible increase in property tax rate • Basic Fee – Electric $2.00 across the board • Insurance change 9.
