The Town has to step up with inspections and penalties. Take pride in community. Land banks controlled by Town for properties that get put in it. Infrastructure upgrades tied to housing upgrades. Community Plan – housing tight lines design “prettier houses”. DOT signage earlier for Hertford. Researching I-87 interchange impact. Re-explained need based on work in 2027/28. Building trades discussion – need funding for apprenticeship program, etc. Train idea. If Town is behind it, promotes it, gets investors – 5 years to build. Clean water trust fund up to 1 million dollars CAMA has grants too. Pembroke just spent $5.2 million for community of 3600 people. Mayor – partnerships – all sit down at the table and get perception. Need a team for renovating homes, etc. Programs exist…but what?
