CITY OF HIALEAH ELECTED OFFICERS RETIREMENT OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE AGENDA February 1, 2021 A meeting of the Elected Officers Retirement Oversight Committee was called to order Monday, February 1, 2021, at 12:27 p.m., in the Council Chambers 1-Call to Order Roll Call: • Ines Beecher, OMB Director Present. • Marbelys Fatjo, City Clerk Present • Paul Hernandez, Council President Present Also present: • Robert Lloyd-Still, Risk Manager • Christopher Chiocca, Finance Director • Alan Krueger, Retired Litigation Attorney via conference call • William Grodnick, Retired City Attorney via conference call • Grisell Aedo, Retirement Director • Frank Wan, Vice President & Investment Advisor, Burgess Chambers & Associates, Inc. • Shelley Jones, GRS Consultant 2-Meeting Minutes of August 3, 2020 Mr. Hernandez motioned to approve the minutes and Ms. Beecher seconded the motion. The motion passed. 3- Meeting Minutes of December 1, 2020 Ms. Beecher motioned to approve the minutes and Ms. Fatjo seconded the motion. The motion passed. 4-Invoice Approval-Burgess Chamber & Associates Inc. Ms. Fatjo motioned to approve the invoice and Ms. Beecher seconded the motion. The motion passed. 5-Quarterly Performance Report-Burgess Chambers & Associates Inc. Mr. Hernandez motioned to approve the transfer of $300,000 from growth to value and Ms. Fatjo seconded the motion. The motion passed. 6-Unfinished Business No unfinished business. 7-New Business Discussion and possible approval of budget for fiscal year 2021 No motion was made. Discussion on GRS Engagement Letter No motion was made. Discussion and possible approval to waive the distribution of annual affidavits to retired elected officers due to COVID-19. Ms. Beecher motioned to waive the distribution of annual affidavits to retired elected officers due to COVID-19 and Ms. Fatjo seconded the motion.
