Village Board Meeting Minutes Saturday, April 25, 2020 Present: Mayor Lee, Trustees Fowler, Fay, Speer, Zabelny Village Manager/Clerk Shari Pearce Deputy Clerk, Amy Harter Absent: DPW Superintendent, Mike McHenry Code Enforcement Officer, Mike Lissow Treasurer Maryalice Edwards Mayor Lee called the special Village Board meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the Code Enforcement Officer position. Resolution to enter executive session at 11:04 a.m. to discuss the position of the code enforcement officer. Motion made by Trustee Speer, seconded by Trustee Fowler. Carried unanimously, 5‐0. Resolution to exit out of executive session at 11:26 a.m. Motion made by Trustee Fowler, seconded by Trustee Zabelny. Carried unanimously, 5‐0. Resolution to retract the offer made to Steven Lauth for the Code Enforcement/Building Inspector/Fire Marshall position. Motion made by Trustee Speer, seconded by Trustee Zabelny. Carried unanimously, 5‐0. Resolution to enter executive session at 11:39 a.m. to discuss the position of the code enforcement officer. Motion made by Trustee Fowler seconded by Trustee Speer. Carried unanimously, 5‐0. Resolution to exit out of executive session at 11:44 a.m. Motion made by Trustee Zabelny seconded by Trustee Fowler. Carried unanimously, 5‐0. Resolution for the Village Manager to offer the Code Enforcement/Building Inspector/Fire Marshall position to Mark Mazzucco and as handbook states at a rate of pay of $55,000. Motion made by Trustee Fowler, seconded by Trustee Zabelny. Carried unanimously, 5‐0.
