MINUTES
Mayor Randall called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. The opening statement was read.
This is a work session of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus, and members of the public are welcome to be present at this
meeting. Under Chapter 80, Public Laws of 2002, Public Comment is allowed at this meeting. The comment period placement is established by
the Mayor and Council. The governing body has the discretion to set the length of time for public comment.
At Roll members present were. Councilmembers: Troast, Rorty, Shell, Fiato and Crossley. Also present were Borough Administrator Bill Jones
and Attorney David Rutherford.
Absent: Councilmember Iannelli.
PROCLAMATION
National Poison Prevention Week Proclamation was read.

ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT
Bid award for Brandywine/ Valley Forge Drainage Project expected for next week.
Ferris Court bid had to be rejected. Bid was higher than anticipated as per Borough Engineer. Grant that was received for Ferris Court will be
rolled into the borough paving project.
We received a Bronze Award and also $1000 toward our Insurance Premium from JIF for Safety Program.

NEW BUSINESS
Joseph Citro Chief Financial Officer and borough administrator discussed the highlights of the budget. The borough is in good shape this year.
The budget is decreased, no increase in taxes on the municipal portion.
